APRA AMCOS is a member-owned music rights management organisation, positioned at the intersection of music, data and technology. We have more than 124,000 members who are songwriters, composers and music publishers. We license organisations to play, perform, copy or record our members’ music, and we distribute the royalties to our members.
When music is played in a business, such as a bar, a gym, a café or a hair salon, permission is typically required.
In Australia, a popular way to secure that permission is through a OneMusic licence. Our OneMusic team educate the designated industry sectors about licensing obligations and our role in ensuring our members are paid for the performance of their works. To do this we rely strongly on a team of dedicated Licensing Representatives who proactively license businesses playing music.
We are seeking an individual who can successfully secure music licences within designated market/industry areas. The role will involve educating businesses about licensing obligations and OneMusic’s role in supporting music creators.
The role is based in our Ultimo office, which is on Gadigal land.
