Are you a beer lover who’s looking for a new opportunity with a small and inclusive independent business? Do you have proven sales experience within the beer or hospitality industries?

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Working knowledge of, and a network within the London independent on-trade.
  • 2+ years of experience in beer or hospitality industries.
  • The role requires a motivated self-starter with a proven track record of exceeding targets, the drive to provide best-in-class service and a passion for our beers.
  • Strong communication and persuasive skills are essential for this role.
  • You will have strong relationship building skills and be highly articulate and proactive, able to think strategically.
  • Computer literate with a working knowledge of Word and Excel. Experience with Breww and Sellar would also be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven experience in delivering training sessions and engagements.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify and pursue sales opportunities.
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

Reporting into the Head Sales the role involves confidently and enthusiastically communicating the UnBarred brand, proposition and products with customers in London, with one day a week (Monday) spent at the brewery in Brighton.
Working predominantly independently you will be a key player within the organisation, leading our London growth and being present in the field, visiting customers 3-4 days a week. We’re looking for a positive and pro-active individual, who can build on existing relationships and on-board new customers.
The right candidate will have the desire to take ownership of the area, planning their time effectively to hit and exceed targets and KPIs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicate brand ethos effectively, building awareness and engagement in London.
  • Grow sales in London by strengthening relationships with existing customers and on-boarding new ones. Work with our wholesalers in London to consistently grow volume.
  • Support accounts with trainings, events and engagements to optimise end-consumer experience. Some weekend and evening work will be involved, and flexibility to work around client’s requirements is essential.
  • Maintain a strategic account management approach by understanding the customer’s business inside out, managing expectations effectively and delivering over and above customer requirements. Use your commercial abilities to negotiate win-win solutions for both the customer and UnBarred.
  • A hands on approach to growing sales and account base with clear self ownership.
  • Complete target criteria for account management, ensuring KPIs are met.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline.
