ABOUT THE JOB

Spatial is looking for an ambitious, highly driven salesperson to join our team. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for construction, technology, connecting with people and communicating technical information then this may be the position for you. If you know your way around heavy equipment, site designs/surveys, grade stakes, lasers, GPS and robotic total stations, we want to hear from you.

JOB SUMMARY

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting existing clients and driving sales growth of Spatial Technologies’ machine control, construction positioning, and related surveying products within the region. This includes identifying potential clients and managing the sales process from initial contact to closing.

QUALIFICATIONS

· 2–3 years of practical technical experience in construction, with a focus on machine control and GPS systems.
· Strong aptitude for computer-based technologies and software applications.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Proven problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
· Committed to delivering exceptional customer service with a client-focused mindset.
· Effective at managing time, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
· Self-motivated and highly organized, with strong strategic planning capabilities and the ability to work independently.
· Collaborative team player with outstanding interpersonal skills and a positive, professional attitude.
· Possession of a valid driver’s license.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

· Geomatics/Civil Engineering diploma.
· 2+ years work experience as Heavy Equipment Operator or relevant work experience
· Background in construction and/or machine automation.
· Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and account management
· Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce is preferred
· Experience with surveying equipment (GNSS/Total Stations)
· Experience and understanding of underground locators and Ground Penetrating Radar.
· Understanding of survey field and office software and CAD systems

Responsibilities

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities while supporting an expanding customer base.
· Take ownership of achieving sales targets and ensuring regional profitability.
· Manage and maintain the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
· Provide regular updates to management on sales pipeline, forecasts, and strategic plans.
· Clearly articulate and demonstrate the benefits of new technologies in improving accuracy, productivity, and profit margins.
· Collaborate closely with Spatial Technologies’ technical team to support Leica positioning products and related solutions.
· Deliver prompt, detail-oriented support to clients, ensuring a high level of service.
· Utilize CRM software to track sales progress and customer interactions.
· Consistently aim to exceed customer expectations and deliver more than promised.
