Description We are seeking a Waste and Recycling Sales Representative to join our Dynamic Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing waste management programs for companies that generate any volumes of recycling and waste. The candidate will work closely with these businesses to help them divert their recycling and waste tonnage safely and sustainability while considering cost components in their presentation. Become a Waste Diversion Specialist and work closely with the executive team to contribute to the enrichment and innovative approach of the overall sales and marketing strategy. The success of this candidate will be evaluated on a monthly basis based on closed sales and quality of pipeline. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers Conduct presentations and cold calls to generate new business Increase gross margin through effective sales strategies Utilize lead-generation techniques to identify potential customers Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals Maintain a strong team player attitude and motivation to achieve sales targets Solid base plus commission eligible to earn over $100k annually! Requirements Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred not required) Proven track record of successful sales experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of waste and recycling services is a plus 3 years of sales experience (preferred) Results-driven with a proven track record of increasing gross margin Strong lead-generation experience Salesforce or other CRM experience Computer literacy skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Strong interpersonal communication skills and techniques Project a positive attitude and maintain a professional appearance Upbeat, contagious personality and strong work ethics We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome all qualified candidates to apply.
