(MSI) is seeking an ambitious Sales Representative who will be responsible for pursuing new sales opportunities as well as providing excellent sales support to current and future customers within their territory. This territory will cover Central Texas and will be required to travel to Omaha, NE for training frequently. Brief Overview of an Outside Sales Representative’s Job Functions: Pursue potential new sales opportunities through relationship building, in-person sales calls, product shows, creating and following through on quotes, exploring leads and referrals, etc. Build strong business relationships with current and future customers. Provide excellent sales support to customers through consistency, follow through, and looking for ways to innovatively meet their needs. Attend and participate in bi-annual sales meetings. Requirements Position Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree is required. A degree in Biology/Chemistry or Supply Chain Management is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communicator Positive attitude with a customer-focused mindset Self-motivated professional that consistently shows initiative Strong ability to work independently Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills Some laboratory experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
The Sales Representative will be responsible for pursuing new sales opportunities within the Central Texas territory through relationship building, in-person calls, and managing leads and referrals. They must also provide excellent sales support to current and future customers and participate in bi-annual sales meetings.
