Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, tenacious, career-minded, self-motivated individual to join our Team at Norwood Foundry Ltd. Our organization is recognized for our strong business practices and our adaptability to put the needs of our customers first.
We have two Divisions at our Foundry.
Waterworks which provides underground contractors and municipalities with Surface Castings, Valve Boxes, Service Boxes and Fittings.
Custom Castings which we provide customers with custom made castings with Brass, Aluminium and Cast Iron for example.
QUALIFICATIONS
- The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of transferable work experience
- Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from inquiry to close
- A commitment to excellent customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers
Responsibilities:
- Creating quotes and sales orders for incoming Waterworks or Custom Casting inquiries for new and existing customers
- Following up on quotes made
- Generating leads
- Meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Negotiating all quotes/contracts with prospective clients
- Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations
- Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients
- Preparing and submitting sales contracts for sales orders
- Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
- Maintaining client records
- Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability for product made through the Foundry and overseas
