JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Plan a sales call with a customer or prospect to meet a specific, positive outcome from each call.
  • Build value for the customer by investigation to uncover Explicit Needs and develop those needs.
  • Demonstrate company’s capability by explaining how company’s products and services match a customer’s Explicit Needs (Benefit Statements)
  • Propose and gain a reasonable commitment from the customer to future action which moves the sale forward (Advances)
  • Record the outcome of a sales call and plan future actions which moves the sale towards a successful conclusion – including additional investigation (needs identification) where necessary.
  • Assess progress within a particular account and make a commercial decision about committing future resources to developing the opportunity.
  • Manage Complexity: Initiative is necessary to find effective ways to approach new customers and persuade existing customers to purchase more and a wider variety of products.
  • Guiding colleagues : Provides advice and guidance to more junior Sales Representatives.
  • Product and customer knowledge and solution development : Has in depth knowledge and understanding of the customer and customer’s organization, market analytics and economic trends. Develops solutions tailored to customer requirements.
  • Complexity of customer relationships : Develops customer relationships. Requires excellent selling and negotiation skills that change behavior and create commitment at similar roles / levels.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Working and thinking level & Experience

  • Bachelor’s, 4-6 years’ experience in the relevant field
  • Master’s, 2-4 years’ experience in the relevant field
