Job Description We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Full-Time Sales Representative to join our team in the food industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling our premium food products to restaurants, building strong client relationships, and meeting sales targets. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a passion for food and customer service. What you'll do Identify and prospect new restaurant clients through cold calls, networking, and referrals. Present and promote our food products (e.g., fresh ingredients, specialty items, or prepared goods) to restaurant owners, chefs, and purchasing managers. Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Prepare and deliver sales pitches, product demonstrations, and samples to showcase product quality and value. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts within company guidelines to close sales. Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales quotas as set by the Sales Manager. Keep accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and orders using our CRM software. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies. Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Proven sales experience, preferably in the food industry or hospitality sector (1-2 years preferred). Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. Knowledge of restaurant operations and food procurement processes is a plus. Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to work independently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (travel to client locations required). Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings or weekends as needed. Preferred Skills Knowledge of food products commonly used in the restaurant industry. Experience with additional CRM or sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Established network of contacts within the restaurant industry. Working Conditions This is a Full-time position. Warehouse and driving environments require adherence to safety protocols. This role involves a mix of remote work, client visits, and occasional travel to restaurants or industry events. Expected to deliver weekly updates every Monday and monthly reports by the end of each month. Collaboration with the sales and marketing teams via virtual platforms and in-person meetings as needed.
