Description:

Prairie Battery is looking for qualified outside sales representative to join our growing team. This role will require the the individual to oversee and establish new accounts within Edmonton and throughout Northern Alberta.
This is a indoor/outdoor position where every day is unique and customer service/attention to detail is essential. Experience in the battery, automotive, or industrial sectors are an asset but not required.
The ideal candidate will report directly to the VP of Sales and work closely to manage and grow the Alberta portfolio.
We are looking for a disciplined, self motivated individual who will have the following characteristic and be able to provide the following.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Sales experience with B2B
  • Recent and satisfactory drivers abstract
  • Must be Bondable/No Criminal Record.
  • Able to Travel within Alberta
  • Computer experience with Excel, Word.

JOB REQUIREMENTS LANGUAGES:

  • English

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or greater.

EXPERIENCE:

-Experience an asset

-Prepare or oversee preparation of sales or other contracts, Conduct sales transactions, Identify and solicit potential clients, Advertise and/or promote products, sales or services, Provide customer service on a regular basis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize strong customer service skills to engage with potential clients and maintain relationships with existing customers.
  • Conduct sales calls and meetings to promote products/services and achieve sales targets.
  • Utilize negotiation skills to close deals and secure contracts.
  • Develop new business opportunities through prospecting and networking.
  • Manage accounts by providing personalized solutions and addressing client needs effectively.
  • Have sales experience with B2B market.
  • Be familiar with the Alberta market and willing to travel.
  • Should be able to operate in a fast paced environment
  • Organized and efficient at reporting and tasking.
