ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client, a Burnaby-based construction and restoration company that has built a strong reputation for quality projects and client-focused service. They are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales & Business Development to join their leadership team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional with established industry connections and proven success in driving business growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong background in sales and business development, preferably in construction or restoration.
  • Established network with property managers, developers, consultants, and commercial building owners.
  • Proven track record of generating leads, securing projects, and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to changing market opportunities.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and secure new project opportunities to expand the company’s presence in the construction and restoration market.
  • Leverage industry connections to generate introductions and contract opportunities.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies and outreach plans.
  • Manage and oversee the proposal process, coordinating with consultants as needed.
  • Advice on market trends, tools, and business growth opportunities (CRM, social media, branding).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, developers, consultants, and commercial building owners.
  • Submit 1–2 proposals monthly, depending on opportunities.
  • Conduct 2–4 high-value client meetings per month and provide weekly outreach reports.
  • Build a pipeline of 3–5 viable project opportunities by month 2, with the goal of securing contracts within the first few months.
