Role Purpose: Being a Sales Representative is providing exceptional service and support to all customers and peers who visit, are called upon or communicate with the Branch by completing sales transactions, services and assisting branch duties, customer and vendor requirements effectively and efficiently. You will work with management and other staff to assist and engage in effective sales strategies designed to maximize sales and profitability along with other potential opportunities within the Branch, Region, or Group for success. Your role is to represent the Company at the highest level internally and externally while strongly assisting branch and Management. Key Relationships: The Sales Representative works closely and maintains strong positive relationships with:  Management  Staff (company wide)  Customers  Vendors Key Accountabilities: The Sales Representative is responsible and accountable for:  Ensure engagement, completion of tasks and alignment company objectives  Assist and achievement of the sales plans, programs, targets and budgets  Assist management in leadership, mentoring and client interaction  Allocated accounts maintenance and creation of new potentials  Maximizing sales profitability and potential opportunities across the group  Consistent contact with key decision makers and prospects  Providing exceptional customer service to all who interact with the branch  Complete requirements accurately, effectively, and efficiently without delay  Offering support at appropriate levels and within your means Key Accountabilities Include:  Proactively assist with all interactions to or from the branch  All communication friendly and positive manner  Provides information and answers questions as requested  All transactions are completed effectively and efficiently  Ensures all information is stored into the relevant system(s)  Uses the systems (E.R.P, Software or Applications) appropriately Skills Required: To perform the responsibilities listed and achieve success in the role, the Sales Representative will demonstrate the following skills:  Ability to build relationships  Understanding clearly pricing, margins, and discounting impacts  Working knowledge of all software systems and usage relating to the role  Ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of business channels  Provides proactive and timely service to all  Develops close and long-term working relationship between all  Ensures accuracy in all records and requirements  Assesses problems and works to resolve issues  Seeks assistance from their manager if necessary  Effectively organizes and prioritizes workload so that all deadlines are met  Adheres to The Redpaths Way – Employee Handbook  Adheres to all Health & Safety policies  Commitment to helping others be successful.
