Your mission Location: Dublin , Limerick , Cork , Midlands & Galway Company: FMI on behalf of Reckitt Reports to: Sales Manager About the Role FMI is currently recruiting for a Sales Representative – Retail Sales & Brand Influence to represent a leading portfolio of Reckitt brands across a defined retail territory. This is an exciting field-based sales role focused on building strong relationships with retail customers, influencing in-store decision-makers, and identifying opportunities to grow sales, visibility, availability and brand presence. You will work with well-known Reckitt brands including Lemsip, Strepsils, Gaviscon, Finish and Vanish, supporting stores to maximise sales opportunities through strong product availability, promotional execution and effective in-store brand presence. What You’ll Be Doing As a Sales Representative, you will: Manage a designated territory of retail customers, including multiples, convenience stores, forecourts and independent retail outlets. Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers, department managers and key retail contacts. Influence store teams to support brand priorities, promotional activity, product availability and in-store visibility. Identify opportunities to grow sales, distribution, product range and secondary display space. Present brand updates, new product launches, promotions and sales initiatives to retail customers. Drive awareness and support for key Reckitt brands including Lemsip, Strepsils, Gaviscon, Finish and Vanish. Monitor competitor activity, pricing, promotions and market trends. Ensure products are available, visible and well presented in-store. Complete accurate call reports, sales updates, stock checks and store visit reports. Manage daily journey plans effectively to maximise customer coverage and impact. Your profile What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who is confident, commercially minded and comfortable building relationships with retail customers. The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in field sales, retail sales, FMCG, grocery, convenience, pharmacy, healthcare, household, consumer goods or retail operations. Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills. Confidence engaging with store managers, retail teams and key decision-makers. A proactive and target-driven approach. Good commercial awareness and the ability to identify sales opportunities. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain high in-store standards. The ability to work independently while representing FMI and the Reckitt brand portfolio professionally. Comfort using reporting systems, mobile apps or basic Microsoft Office tools. A full clean driving licence. The Person You will be: Sales-focused and results-driven.
