Roofing Industries (part of Vulcan Steel Group) Roofing Industries is a New Zealand manufacturer and supplier of metal roofing and cladding products, proudly supporting roofers and builders nationwide. We’re now looking for a motivated Sales Representative to join our small but driven Cromwell team. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to a self-starter who enjoys building relationships, closing sales, and rolling up their sleeves when needed. About the Role You’ll be responsible for growing sales across the region while supporting day-to-day branch operations. While sales is the core focus, this is not a desk-only role — you’ll also help with quoting, processing orders, and occasionally assisting with deliveries or factory tasks. You’ll work closely with roofers, construction companies, and designers, helping position Roofing Industries as their supplier of choice. Key Responsibilities Build strong relationships with existing customers and actively develop new business Promote and sell Roofing Industries products to roofers, builders, and designers Identify growth opportunities within the existing client base Prepare quotes and process customer orders daily Respond to incoming calls and emails and provide excellent customer service Assist with deliveries and manufacturing duties when required Maintain accurate records and comply with NZ regulations Work collaboratively with branch staff, other RI branches, and suppliers Hours: Monday to Friday, between 7:00am – 5:00pm (approx. 45 hours per week) You’re proactive, reliable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Sales experience is essential — construction industry experience is preferred but not required.
