Description

Sentinel Pole & Traffic is looking for a results-oriented Sales Representative to help expand our customer base and drive growth. You’ll focus on offering value-driven solutions to clients in sectors such as construction, infrastructure, traffic hardware, roadway lighting, and anchoring systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field of study (asset).
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector, preferably in fabricated or custom metal products.
  • Proven ability to identify new leads, develop relationships, and close deals.
  • Familiarity with customer types such as OEMs, general contractors, equipment manufacturers, or industrial clients.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems and remote collaboration tools.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own territory and schedule.
  • Familiarity with quoting custom fabricated parts and reading technical drawings or blueprints is a plus.
  • Track record of building a new territory or recovering a dormant account base (asset).

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain new business within assigned territories and market segments.
  • Promote and sell traffic solutions including anchor, pole, bracketry, arms, and other items as requested.
  • Understand customer specifications and work with internal engineering and production teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle: prospecting, quoting, negotiation, and account management.
  • Build and maintain CRM records, sales pipelines, and weekly activity reports.
  • Attend trade shows, customer visits, plant tours, and industry events as required.
  • Collaborate with production and project managers to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
