We are looking for employees who can: * Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. * Interact professionally with other employees and customers. * Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. * Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations. * Grow a geographic territory utilizing exceptional time and territory management. Responsibilities: * Service existing customers, obtain orders and establish new customers by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade contacts. * Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential customer markets. * Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques. * Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management. * Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks. Essential Functions: * Efficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) and VPN * Efficient with Windows based ERP programs (brand specific not required) * Excellent written and verbal communication Education and Experience Profile: * Bachelor’s or Associate degree in business or related field * 5 or more years' experience in a related position Commitments and Location: * Full-time outside sales role. * This role covers a six-state territory in the Northeast with a preferred home base in the Philadelphia area. * Travel requirements vary depending on business needs, but candidates should expect to travel approximately 50% to 75% of the time.
