JOB DESCRIPTION

We are Sheldon Creek Dairy, an on-farm dairy crafting wholesome milk products right here on our family farm and distribute our products as well as many other Canadian made brands on our trucks. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Professional for our wholesale and distributor accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passion for sales and the food industry; previous industry experience an asset.
  • Proven sales skills or demonstrated potential in a sales-driven environment.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with POS software and e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Square, and QuickBooks.
  • Experience with mapping and routing software preferred.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Willingness to engage actively with clients, including presentations to groups when necessary.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to wholesale and distributor clients.
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of product offerings, benefits, pricing, and availability.
  • Manage client orders via online platforms, phone calls, and emails.
  • Utilize platforms like QuickBooks E-Commerce and Shopify efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the management team to analyze sales data, identify trends, and set achievable goals.
  • Communicate current and upcoming promotions and actively upsell products.
  • Create innovative promotional materials and sample packs for client engagement.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams for order fulfillment and logistics.
  • Plan and optimize delivery routes and schedules.
