Job Details Job Location: Mountain Creek - Vernon, NJ Salary Range: $50000.00 - $55000.00 Base+Commission/year Description Group Sales Representative – Mountain Creek Location: Vernon, NJ Reporting to: Resort Chief (GM) SNOW Partners Mission Statement: “To Enhance the Lives of our Team, Guests and Partners by Building Lasting Connections.” About Mountain Creek: Mountain Creek, a four-season resort, offering skiing/snowboarding, bike park, waterpark, weddings, mountain coaster, restaurants, and lodge. How the Group Sales Representative works with the Team: The primary function of this job includes, but is not limited to, handling all incoming sales calls for groups and coordinate and execute all web based inquiries. In addition, assist in the effective scheduling, planning, management and execution of the sales plan. Team Member Responsibilities: Maximize sales and occupancy by developing relationships and programs for schools, recreation departments, Camps, Youth Groups, Companies, and any other Organizations Handle all inbound sales calls Coordinate and execute all web-based sales and inquiries Actively prospect and qualify new group sales opportunities Maintain weekly reports Provide client booking/sales information, follow-up, conduct site tours Handles pre-event correspondence and meetings Maintain and develop a relationship with local Associations Other duties as determined by the General Manager Team Member Qualifications: Must have an aptitude for customer service and ability to remain calm and cheerful in stressful situations. Must be able to handle high-pressure situations and meet the demands of constant deadlines. Must possess good time management, organization, record keeping, and communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. Must be able to work in a team-oriented atmosphere and work independently and handle projects on an individual basis. Must possess the ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints. Must be multiple task oriented. Experience/Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Administration or related field is preferred. Minimum 2 years sales experience preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered. Qualifications
