Responsibilities

As a Solar Advisor, you’ll use your relationship-building and communication skills to guide Canadian homeowners through the journey of going solar. Our Solar Advisors are kind, compassionate, and embody the ‘soft-close’. We are looking for driven, self-starting individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Under the supervision of the Sales Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Solar Advisor include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Acts as an advisor to corporate and self-generated leads regarding residential and commercial solar projects;
  • Performs introduction and follow up meetings using Sunly standardized proposals to facilitate the selling of residential and commercial solar;
  • Completes agreement signing process with leads converting them into clients including the walk through of all documents, the signing of all documents and the collection of any supporting documentation;
  • Performs “thank you” meetings after the installation with the intention of ensuring client familiarity with their new installation and high-quality customer service;
  • Attends outreach community events with the intention of building awareness and educating communities on solar opportunities;
  • Maintains a satisfactory closing rate based on company standards;
  • Ensures adherence to Sunly designed contact and communication strategies;
  • Secures opportunities to present detailed proposals and quotes based on client
  • requirements;
  • Travel to and from your residence to company-generated, pre-qualified appointments with homeowners;
  • Generates leads, including door knocking and pursues sales opportunities with residential and commercial clients; and
  • Tracks, updates and maintains accurate sales activities using Salesforce.
