Farm Machinery Salesman

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Salesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling tractors, grass, tillage and slurry equipment. This role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, providing expert product knowledge, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the agricultural sector.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
* Provide expert product knowledge and advice on farm machinery and equipment.
* Conduct sales demonstrations and presentations.
* Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotations.
* Negotiate sales agreements and close deals.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and competitor activities.
* Provide excellent customer service and support.
* Assist with marketing and promotional activities.
* Maintain accurate sales records and reports.
Qualifications:
* Proven sales experience, preferably within the agricultural or machinery industry.
* Strong knowledge of farm machinery and equipment.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
* Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Valid driver’s license.
