Description
Overview Expanding luxury appliance manufacturer looking for sales representation in the Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi territory. Ideal candidate would be based in the territory and be responsible for accounts in the Houston, San Antonio, and Austin, TX area as well as potentially Louisiana and Mississippi. The regional sales manager will be responsible for introducing and growing sales of luxury appliances to the market and will be expected to establish and foster relationships with key appliance dealers and other channel partners. Responsibilities Core Responsibilities: Establish and develop relationships with key independent, premium appliance dealers. Increase and nurture relationships with current accounts. Establish and develop service network. Solicit new business through other avenues that work with core client base. Provide constant research and analysis on development of products, marketing, and current industry trends. Use of Salesforce CRM to record new opportunities and regular activities on existing accounts. Create quarterly and annual business plans based on opportunities identified. Analyze and work with management on development of programs that maximize sales, market share, and profit margin goals. Utilize customer service as an intermediary for communication. Work to develop relationships with the trade (designer, architects, and custom builders) regarding product training and brand exposure. Create and conduct product knowledge sessions on a regular basis with dealer sales people to enhance sell through. Develop your own schedule to maximize the amount of time spent in front of your key customers while minimizing your travel expenses. Qualifications Education/Skills/Requirements: Must be willing to travel frequently. BS or BA degree preferred. 5+ years sales experience within premium appliance industry. Previous experience with bringing a new product to market. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Must be independently motivated and highly organized.
