  • Prepare quotes within approved pricing and follow every one through to an outcome
  • Build referral relationships with painting contractors, builders, facilities managers and automotive refinishers to create pull-through demand
  • Run product demonstrations and staff training, such as Mirka dust-free sanding systems
  • Support in-store merchandising and promotions so products are ranked, stocked and selling
  • Represent us at trade nights, store events and expos
  • Keep the CRM up to date and report on activity, pipeline and market intelligence

About you

  • At least 3 years' experience in field or territory sales, ideally in paint, building products, hardware, trade supplies or industrial consumables
  • A proven record of meeting targets and winning new business
  • Experience managing reseller, distributor or retail accounts, including buying groups
  • Knowledge of painting, surface preparation or abrasives products is highly regarded
  • Confident using a CRM and Microsoft 365
  • Self-motivated, organised and good at building relationships, negotiating and closing

What you'll need

  • A current, unrestricted Australian driver licence and a safe driving record
  • Willingness to travel extensively, with occasional overnight stays in regional Victoria and occasional evening or weekend trade events
  • The ability to lift and set up samples and display stock (up to 18 kg)
  • A satisfactory National Police Check

What's on offer

  • Competitive salary plus superannuation
  • Fully maintained company vehicle
  • Full product training and accreditation
