About the role The Beyond Oil Territory Sales Representative is a full-time, permanent role responsible for driving new business and expanding Beyond Oil adoption across the restaurant and foodservice industry. The primary focus of this role is prospecting, cold calling, and closing sales through Proof of Concept (POC) trials that convert into long-term customers. In addition to sales, this role provides limited on-site onboarding support — ensuring customers are trained and set up for success — before transitioning them into regular service. The ideal candidate thrives on making calls, booking meetings, and hitting aggressive sales targets, while being comfortable rolling up their sleeves during customer trials. A valid Class 5 driver’s license and personal vehicle are required for this position. Annual base salary $45,000. If sales targets are met total annual earnings (inclusive of base pay) up to $80,000 Classification Status: Full-Time, Salaried with Commission/Bonus Potential Department: Beyond Oil / Sales Location: Vancouver (with travel across BC and Western Canada as required) Reporting Relationships Reports to: Director of Strategic Initiatives Directly Supervises: N/A Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development (Primary Focus – 70%) Prospect and cold call restaurants, QSRs, and foodservice operators daily to generate new sales opportunities. Book and coordinate Proof of Concept (POC) trials to showcase Beyond Oil’s benefits. Deliver compelling presentations and ROI-driven sales pitches to owners and managers. Build and manage a strong sales pipeline in CRM, with disciplined follow-up. Negotiate and close customer contracts, ensuring smooth handoff into onboarding. Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Represent Beyond Oil at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities. Implementation & Onboarding (Secondary Focus – 30%) Deliver Beyond Oil product to customer sites as needed during trial periods. Train restaurant staff on proper Beyond Oil usage and fryer preparation. Support trial execution: oil straining, dosing, TPM testing, and data collection. Document trial results and customer feedback in CRM. Provide post-trial support and ensure successful transition into full adoption. Qualifications 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably B2B in hospitality, foodservice, or CPG. Proven success in cold calling, prospecting, and closing new business. Confident in delivering persuasive sales pitches and handling objections. Organized with strong pipeline management and CRM discipline. Hands-on comfort working in kitchen environments (fryer experience an asset). Strong communication skills with the ability to influence decision-makers. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within territory. Flexibility to work evenings or weekends for key customer meetings or trials. Performance Metrics Number of cold calls made daily/weekly. Meetings booked per week. POC trials scheduled and completed. New customers closed per month. Revenue growth in assigned territory.
