Description

The role of the Sales & Retention and Marketing Support (S&R) is to provide assistance and backup to the company’s sales teams, while providing a point of contact for both incoming and outgoing new business inquiries in an efficient and effective manner.
This role has two aspects as follows:
The first is focused on creating leads and generating business meetings for the sales team.
The second is focused on retaining and managing existing customers who currently have less than ten vehicles from Drivalia on their fleet.
This role combines existing and new business so the successful candidate must be driven and passionate about retaining, growing, marketing and selling to both existing and new customers. The candidate must have strong communication skills and a natural ability to form and nurture relationships with prospects and customers. A key objective is understanding and being able to present how Drivalia’s business solutions can help their businesses. In effect they need to become their customer’s trusted fleet advisor. This role is suited to someone who is self-motivated to achieve challenging but rewarding monthly business targets. We are looking for someone who can exploit their exceptional lead generation skills and client relationship management for successful results.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in sales support or marketing role an advantage
  • Strong communication skills (both verbally and written communication) externally, including an exceptional command of the English language
  • Have a professional telephone manner with the ability to build rapport while displaying active listening skills
  • Strong negotation & closing skills
  • Experience in using social media, such as Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook etc.
  • Excellent organisational skills with numerical proficiency, ability to multi-task while maintaining strong attention to detail in a busy environment
  • A good work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude in your approach to work
  • Strong collaboration skills working with other functions to ensure we deliver excellent customer service
  • Ability to display complete professionalism at all times
  • Excellent computer skills and IT literacy – Salesforce MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.

Responsibilities

NEW BUSINESS & MARKETING (60% OF THE ROLE)

  • Generate new business leads by cold calling prospect companies, gathering and recording information regarding decision makers, number of vehicles, competitors
  • Arrange New Business meetings for Sales Team
  • Continue to increase market awareness of Drivalia and products offered by contacting customers & prospects through social media channels and / or via email campaigns
  • Manage inbound new business calls and allocate accordingly
  • Implement New Business wins

SALES & RETENTION SUPPORT (40% OF THE ROLE)

  • Pro-actively contact our customers within the Sales and Retention channel regarding:
  • The renewal of their vehicle and establish if additional vehicles are required for their business
  • Contract extension’s, rewrites & novations

  • Rental Vehicle requirements & opportunities

  • Preparation of quotes and as required by customers and prospects

  • Checking of credit limits and Prepare credit apps for existing and new business
  • Collaborate with other functions in relation to:

  • Supply and lead-time on vehicles

  • Customer service queries

  • Coordinate with the S&R team to produce monthly reports on S&R wins, losses as detailed in S&R objectives. Prepare the monthly new business sales reposts in summary format

  • Attend product/manufacturer presentations/Updates
