The Role
To support the Head of Commercial Operations, maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of the commercial organisation, i.e., the ability of the commercial organisation to achieve the highest possible results in a scalable, predictable and sustainable way. The Commercial Analyst is accountable for ensuring that the data quality in our Salesforce system is correct, supporting the commercial function in terms of reporting, improving processes and liaising between the different departments at Genius.
Main Responsibilities
Lead on reporting and analysis for the commercial team (Sales, Customer Success and Marketing)
Be the lead for Salesforce reports and dashboards for the wider business
Partner with sales leaders to provide actionable insights and drive improvements
Help create a data-first approach in measuring success
Drive the development and maintenance of accurate sales forecasts to support strategic decision-making
Partner with Sales, Marketing and Finance teams to ensure all metrics are reported accurately
Analyze and advise on improvements in the pre-sales process, rep execution, data cleanliness, target attainment, and systems to boost productivity
Provide support to the commercial team on the sales process
Coordinate training for our sales team on salesforce changes, tools and product demos
Encourage strong cross-team/departmental communication and collaboration
Assists sales management in understanding processes bottlenecks and inconsistencies
Ensure the commercial team are following processes
