DESCRIPTION: Sales Scientist – Environmental (Full Time)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree/diploma in science, business or related
  • 3+ years of experience in sales
  • Experience working in chemistry, environmental science or technology sector is an asset.
  • Excellent people skills, strong business acumen and relationship building skills.
  • Time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines and targets,
  • Energetic personality, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor and strong oral and written communication skills
  • Willing to travel to remote areas to secure new business.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, and outreach within the assigned territory.
  • Achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Present and demonstrate products/services effectively to prospective clients.
  • Respond to incoming inquiries and qualify potential clients.
  • Assess potential partnerships and new markets.
  • Ensure client needs are understood and addressed in the sales process.
  • Prepare quotes and proposals.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and other networking events as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions via CRM.
  • Work closely with other teams, including customer service and operations, to ensure a positive customer service experience and repeat business.
