This Position reports to:
Channel Manager - Distribution - UAE

Responsibilities

Sells products/systems to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned ABB Home solution Business Units/Product Groups ( Wiring Accessories Products, Door entry system ,Enclosed Isolators ) to customers in construction & infrastructure projects, contractors focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Division/Product Groups. In the selling process work closely with all the stake holders such as End clients, Architects, Consultants, Interior Designers, Contractors for the projects business and establish new as well as serve the existing network of traders and retailers. All the Sales activities including liaising actively with influencers should be focused to generate demand and convert it to measurable orders in line with the targets for the year and segment.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
  • Prepares sales plans using company tools. Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls
  • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.
  • Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
  • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4-6 years’ experience as sales experience in selling wiring accessories in project segment.
  • Prior experience in dealing with the major interior designers, Architects, consultants , contractors and End users in UAE market.
