You’ll have the autonomy to build and grow your own portfolio, backed by the capability, credibility, and scale of a trusted New Zealand organisation. Ko tō mahi – What you will do * Partner with customers and prospects to understand their cyber security risks, challenges, and maturity, shaping tailored security strategies and solutions. * Lead high-value, consultative sales conversations focused on outcomes, from threat detection and response through to governance, risk, and compliance. * Build and grow a strong pipeline of opportunities, balancing new business development with strategic account growth. * Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders (CISO, CIO, CTO, and executive level), influencing security investment decisions. * Work closely with internal cyber specialists, architects, and delivery teams to design and position compelling solutions. * Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with confidence, maintaining clear pipeline visibility and discipline. * Contribute to Kordia’s cyber go-to-market approach, bringing insights from the field to continuously strengthen our offering. Nā tōu rourou – What you will bring You’re a proven cyber security sales professional who understands the nuances of selling security solutions in enterprise or mid-market environments. You’ll also bring: * Strong experience in cyber security sales, ideally across areas such as managed security services, SOC, SIEM, threat detection & response, or GRC. * A background working in or alongside specialist cyber security environments, with a deep understanding of how cyber solutions are positioned and delivered. * The ability to confidently engage with senior security and technology leaders, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value. * A track record of building and closing complex deals, often involving multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles. * Commercial discipline across pipeline management, forecasting, and deal strategy. * A proactive, self-driven approach — comfortable operating in a high-trust, high-autonomy environment. * A genuine interest in the cyber security landscape and staying current with emerging threats, trends, and technologies. Nōu te rourou – Why join us? At Kordia, you’ll be part of a team that’s serious about cyber. You’ll work alongside experienced cyber practitioners in a culture that values expertise, curiosity, and ownership. We offer the backing of an established organisation, with the agility and ambition of a growing cyber business. Alongside a competitive salary and benefits, including matched employer superannuation contributions up to 5%, extra leave days and flexible working, you’ll have the opportunity to shape your career, build your reputation in the cyber market, and help organisations strengthen their security posture in meaningful ways.
