Description Homemakers has a long history of providing our customers with amazing furniture options and great prices. We are looking to add a part time sales specialist to our Mattress department. If you like helping make a difference in a person's life, then this is the part time job for you! Previous mattress and bed sales experience is preferred. Pay: $20 per hour Schedule: 16-24 hours per week. Must be available both Saturday and Sunday with possible hours on Mondays and Fridays as needed. Store hours are Monday - Thursday 10 - 7, Friday 10 - 8, Saturday 10 - 7, Sunday 11 - 6. Summary While working in a team environment, the team member will actively seek out customers in our store and greet them in an upbeat and professional manner while providing an exceptional customer experience. Job Duties ~ Sales Specialist Maneuver the sales floor in Mattresses to actively seek out customers to assist with their selections Greet customers in an upbeat and professional manner while providing and exceptional customer experience Provide product knowledge and order assistance in store, on the phone and through email communications Consistent eagerness to listen, learn, apply training and knowledge, and accept critical feedback Continuous learning of product features and qualities Genuine interest and action in helping others before yourself, regardless of recognition or reward Demonstrate pride and ownership in your work while meeting expected deadlines Show respect and appreciation by professionally interacting with customers and coworkers Take pride in our showroom by helping to maintain cleanliness and order Follow all operational and safety procedures Qualifications: Basic tablet skills Communicate effectively through written and oral correspondence Effective interpersonal skills Analytical skills to problem solve and offer alternative solutions to customers Ability to organize work efficiently and multi-task Able to collaborate with leadership and business partners Physical Expectations Standing and walking for long periods of time Minor to medium lifting may be required as needed, with or without assistance Listening and effectively communicating Using a computer, POS system and phone

Responsibilities
