ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Sales Supervisor to join our growing car supermarket based in Barnet (stocking 1,300+ used vehicles). This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress their
career while focusing on driving sales performance, second-facing customers to upsell products, and motivating the team to hit appointment and sales targets.
As the Sales Supervisor, you will work closely with the Sales Controllers to ensure team efficiency and profitability, with a particular focus on maximising finance and insurance (FCI) products. You will also play a key role in motivating sales executives to maximise their performance and ensuring weekend operations run smoothly. This role is a stepping stone towards a Sales Controller position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Second-Facing: Proactively second-face customers to upsell FCI products, ensuring all opportunities are maximised.
  • Team Motivation: Drive the sales team to generate appointments, close deals, and meet daily/weekly targets.
  • Performance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring individual and team performance, offering mentoring and guidance to improve results.
  • Target Achievement: Support in setting and delivering sales volume and profitability targets for the team.
  • Finance Management: Occasionally process and chase finance proposals to support swift and efficient deal closures.
  • Customer Retention: Deliver a first-class customer experience, addressing customer needs and concerns promptly to ensure retention and satisfaction.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales processes comply with regulatory standards and company procedures.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide daily performance updates and assist the Sales Controller in reporting key metrics.
