POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside & Inside Sales Supervisor to lead our Inside and Outside Sales teams in the building supply industry. This individual will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and motivating a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed company performance goals. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong knowledge of construction materials and a passion for customer service, sales process optimization, and team development.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in sales or sales leadership, preferably in the building materials or construction supply industry.
  • Proven experience managing inside and/or outside sales teams with a record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong understanding of pricing structures, margin management, and sales analytics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of regional construction markets and contractor customer base is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support a team of Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) and Outside Sales Representatives (OSRs), ensuring alignment with company sales objectives.
  • Coach and mentor sales staff through regular one-on-one sessions, sales meetings, ride-alongs, and performance evaluations.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key sales metrics including revenue, margin, and customer acquisition.
  • Develop pricing strategies, quotes, and competitive bids tailored to specific customers or markets.
  • Work closely with operations, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Support the onboarding and training of new sales team members.
  • Foster a high-performance, customer-focused culture across the sales team.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy and tactics.
  • Drive strategic growth initiatives in both residential and commercial building markets.
