Sales Support Administrator / Junior Sales Executive

About Premier Pits

Premier Pits is part of MBE Fabrications Ltd and has been designing, manufacturing and installing prefabricated steel maintenance pits for over 35 years.

We work with commercial vehicle operators, PSV fleets, rail customers, workshops and industrial clients across the UK and internationally. Alongside our core inspection pit products, we also manufacture bespoke steel substructures for a wide range of specialist below-ground applications.

Following recent investment and new ownership, we are strengthening our sales and administrative support function to improve customer response, pipeline visibility and internal coordination.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and organised Sales Support Administrator / Junior Sales Executive to join our head office team in Spalding.

This role would suit someone who is highly organised, confident speaking to customers and suppliers, and keen to develop within a technical sales environment.

You will support the sales team with enquiry handling, quotation administration, CRM updates, customer follow-up, order information and internal coordination. Over time, there may be the opportunity to develop into a more customer-facing sales role.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, log and help manage incoming sales enquiries.
• Support the sales team with customer follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate CRM / pipeline records.
• Help prepare quotation packs and supporting information.
• Assist with order acknowledgements and customer documentation.
• Coordinate information between sales, design, production and installation teams.
• Help maintain the live orderbook and weekly sales reporting information.
• Support the preparation of sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
• Chase missing customer information, drawings, PO numbers or site details.
• Assist with trade show preparation, brochures, case studies and sales literature.
• Help ensure customers receive timely, professional communication.
• Provide general sales administration support to the Sales Director and wider team.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and willing to learn.

Experience in sales administration, customer service, internal sales, project administration or a technical office environment would be helpful, but attitude, attention to detail and communication skills are just as important.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

• Strong organisational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable speaking with customers by phone and email.
• Good attention to detail.
• Confident using Microsoft Office.
• Ability to update spreadsheets, CRM systems or internal databases accurately.
• Willingness to learn technical product information.
• Positive, team-focused attitude.

Desirable:

• Experience in sales support, customer service or administration.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, engineering, automotive, fleet or workshop sectors.
• CRM experience.
• Basic understanding of quotations, purchase orders or order processing.
