Job Description The Sales Support role plays a critical part in enabling the success of our Business Information (BI) sales team. This position provides essential operational and administrative support across the full client lifecycle — from initial setup and onboarding to ongoing client maintenance and data updates. A key component of the role involves creating high‑quality collateral and materials that clearly showcase our value proposition, helping equip the sales team with the tools they need to engage prospects effectively and drive commercial growth. The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail‑oriented, and proactive in supporting a fast‑paced sales environment while ensuring an exceptional client experience. Key responsibilities: Process and qualify sales leads, identifying potential customers and their business needs. Gather relevant information and leverage data to demonstrate the value of our offerings during Proofs of Concept (PoC) and product demos. Collaborate with the Sales and Solutions Engineering teams to create compelling, tailored proposals that address client requirements and clearly articulate our strengths. Set up new customer accounts, maintain accurate records, and update CRM systems in a timely manner. Address technical queries from prospects, explaining how our products and services integrate seamlessly with their existing systems. Act as a “voice of the customer,” providing structured feedback to Product teams to support ongoing evolution of our proposition. Deliver high‑quality customer service by responding promptly and professionally to phone and email inquiries. Map, monitor, and develop the customer journey to ensure a consistently positive client experience. Analyse sales data and reporting to identify trends, insights, and opportunities to drive sales growth. Build and maintain datasets in Power BI to support ongoing monitoring of UK and Ireland Business Information–related data sources. Conduct research to support targeting efforts, including reviewing Coface internal assets and assessing relevant external data vendors. Research competitor offerings and broader market trends to help inform and strengthen sales strategies. Share knowledge, insights, and best practices across the region to foster collaboration and enhance overall commercial performance. Qualifications Qualifications Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Management, or a related discipline. 2–3 years’ experience in a sales support or related commercial role. Strong analytical skills with experience using data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI). Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is essential. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. Highly proactive, resourceful, and detail‑oriented, with strong problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of the UK business information landscape is an advantage. Ability to interpret financial statements is a plus. Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate activities, meet deadlines, and support smooth solution delivery.
