Overview Who are we looking for? CAPTRUST is seeking a dynamic Sales Support Associate II who will play an important role in supporting advisors and driving the firm’s sales effectiveness through prospect material development, coordination, and fulfillment in addition to collaborative efforts with colleagues and cross-functional teams for broader business development and sales enablement efforts. Responsibilities Assist with, contribute to, and be responsible for the development, completion, and fulfillment (digital and physical) of the following primary deliverables, at minimum, which are associated with firm’s business development activity: Company Overview Sales Sheets Custom Deliverables Sample Materials Executive Summary Finals Presentation Collaborate with cross-functional teams and utilize internal and external resources (Integreon and Seismic) and systems as needed in the creation of business development and sales enablement materials Serve as a key resource for advisors preparing for prospect meetings and sales opportunities Consult with advisors to understand the specific needs and nuances of each sales opportunity Curate and direct advisors to the most relevant sales and marketing materials, ensuring alignment with client needs and firm positioning Connect advisors with internal experts and resources to strengthen and tailor pitch efforts Coordinate and utilize all applicable samples and custom materials and deliverables associated with each business development opportunity Populate databases and business development resources with recent deliverables, materials, and information for archiving and organization purposes Engage with advisors to understand and track opportunity outcomes aligned to completed requests Capture and share advisor feedback on process, best practices and deliverables as part of ongoing commitment to continuous improvement Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: 2-3+ years of experience in business development or similar support role commensurate with role responsibilities Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, marketing, English or similar degree High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Suites including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in addition to utilizing SharePoint, Teams, and OneNote Demonstrated ability or experience with production, development, or fulfillment of prospect presentation materials Desired Qualifications/Skills: Excellent project management and organizational skills necessary with an appropriate level of attention to detail and accountability Proven ability to positively, constructively, and professionally engage and interact with diverse groups of colleagues and individuals Knowledge and awareness of business development and marketing activities, challenges, and requirement associated with an RIA within the financial services industry specifically for wealth management, retirement plan, and endowment and foundation audiences Understanding and experience working within sales enablement and automation platforms and supporting technologies such as Seismic and Microsoft Dynamics Must be a self-starter with ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment Excellent interpersonal skills; Must be coachable, possess curiosity, and desire to learn Must be able to demonstrate a sense of urgency and desire to win Must possess poise and focus in a deadline-driven environment and stressful situations Ability to work on multiple projects with simultaneous deadlines; Ability to consistently meet deadlines WHAT can you expect from your career at CAPTRUST?
