ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reporting to: Sales Support Manager
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Work Location: Melbourne
As a Sales Support Representative , you will play a key role in delivering sales support services to help achieve ANL & CMA CGM’s sales targets and KPIs.
THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Manage a national portfolio of ANL & CMA CGM customers, providing sales support and assisting interstate teams when needed.
Ensure KPIs are met, proactively addressing concerns with the Sales Support Manager (SSM).
Support sales executives with administrative tasks, rate negotiations, quoting, CDVA, and snapshot reports.
Promote CMA CGM digital tools and non-maritime services while compiling ad hoc statistics and performance reports.
Provide timely sales support to assigned customers across various states within set KPIs.
Monitor quotes, update opportunities in NOVA Business, and track mailbox activity for assigned customers.
Ensure accurate rate filing in relevant systems to minimize errors and maintain compliance with KPIs.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, logistics, or a related industry, preferably in sales or customer service.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Strong customer interaction, public relations, and interpersonal skills.
Flexible and adaptable, willing to take on various tasks.
Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident.
