Sales Controller
Department: Sales
Reporting To: Operations Director
Job Title: Sales Support
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm Friday 8:30am-4pm
Location: Bromsgrove, Worcestershire

Role Purpose
The sales support role involves a wide range of administrative tasks with the key focus being to support the CEO with sales paperwork and communication with customers.

Key Accountabilities

• Process sales order paperwork
• Process finance house paperwork for contract hire and lease purchase equipment
• Seek financial approval from accounts team when equipment is purchased by the customer
• Place sales orders with OEMs
• Send order acknowledgements to customers including planned delivery dates
• Ensure customer and order details are set up on the system
• Support with short term rental to fulfil lead times
• Sending rental contracts in a timely manner
• Update sales order and delivery register
• Locate used equipment from dealerships and traders for refurbishment purposes
• Schedule refurbishment orders with workshop team leader

Key Attributes

• Sales support experience ideally gained within the forklift truck or automotive sectors
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• High standards with excellent attention to detail and positive work principles
• Good problem-solving skills
• Customer focused
• Reliable and conscientious
• Able to work under pressure & prioritise workload
