POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting the sales team and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This position is responsible for managing order entry, handling customer communications, supporting sales initiatives, and maintaining accurate records for house accounts and contracts.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Previous experience in a sales support, customer service, or administrative role.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/order management systems.
· Proficiency with AI tools such as CoPilot and ChatGPT is considered an asset.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
· A proactive and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

· Order Entry: Accurately process customer orders in a timely manner using internal systems.
· Phone Support: Provide professional and courteous assistance to customers and internal teams via phone.
· Customer Emails: Respond to customer inquiries, order updates, and service requests through email.
· Service House Accounts: Maintain and support key house accounts with consistent follow-up and service excellence.
· Customer Service: Resolve customer issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of satisfaction.
· Warranty/Repairs: Support data entry, tracking, and customer communications
· Quote/Bid Support: Prepare and assist with customer quotes and bid documentation in collaboration with the sales team.
· Customer Prospecting Support: Help identify and qualify new business opportunities through research and outreach support.
· Contract Management: Maintain and update customer contracts, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
· Special Projects/Assignments: Participate in or lead sales-focused assignments and projects as required.
