Description We’re hiring a Sales Support Specialist to work alongside our Sales Engineers and help drive orders from quote to delivery. This role goes beyond basic order entry. You’ll be responsible for handling the details that keep orders moving - including pricing, vendor coordination, order processing, and follow-through with both customers and suppliers. Our service offerings include system analysis and design, applications engineering, custom fabrication of equipment packages, automation and controls, equipment repair, and thermal hard coatings. tencarva.com The Role You will work closely with Sales Engineers to support the order lifecycle - from initial quote support through order entry, vendor coordination, pricing, purchasing, and delivery. Along the way, you’ll also be in constant contact with suppliers, customers, and internal teams, ensuring orders are accurate, on-time, and executed properly. Success in this role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple moving pieces without letting things fall through the cracks. What You’ll Be Responsible For Support Sales Engineers by managing quotes, orders, and customer follow-up Obtain pricing from suppliers and prepare customer quotations Enter and manage orders within the ERP system Review vendor acknowledgments for accuracy, pricing, and delivery timelines Coordinate with suppliers, internal teams, and customers to ensure timely execution Track orders through fulfillment and proactively follow up on delays or issues Maintain accurate records including pricing, customer data, and order details Support inventory coordination and basic purchasing activities Process returns (RMAs) and ensure proper resolution Assist with documentation including proposals, order confirmations, and contracts Communicate clearly with customers and vendors to keep orders moving Why Join Tencarva Stable, growing organization with 36 locations across 16 states No history of layoffs (since the company's founding in 1978) Annual Incentive Program Profit Sharing via 401(k) Collaborative environment working closely with sales, operations, and suppliers Opportunity to build deep knowledge of industrial equipment and systems Benefits include paid time off (including 10 holidays), health insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability, and life), and Employee Assistance Program. Requirements What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a technical, process-driven environment.
