KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The most important stakeholders are the plant management and the management team of the Measurement & Analytics division at the Minden site (NRW)

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Managing warehouse operations within the approved budget, overseeing staff activities to maximize resource utilization, and implementing corrective actions to address cost-related challenges as needed.
  • Driving continuous improvement in warehouse operations through the application of lean practices and methodologies.
  • Planning and optimizing warehouse space utilization and inventory management to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Monitoring storage, delivery, and dispatch processes, maintaining up-to-date stock control systems, and overseeing order processing to meet operational targets.
  • Fostering the professional development of team members through coaching, training, and performance management initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics management with proven advanced skills in this field.
  • Degree in logistics management or industrial engineering with a focus on logistics, along with a proven track record in this area.
  • In-depth knowledge of applying CIP, Lean Management, Six Sigma, Lean Logistics, and the automotive and electronics markets.
  • Extensive experience in using SAP and MS Office.
  • You foster team orientation and motivation with creative ideas to improve collaboration and performance.
  • German business fluent in both spoken and written, English fluent in both spoken and written.
