Job Summary:
Answering to the Branch Manager, TORMAX Brandon (TBR), the Sales Supporter, will be responsible to process and facilitate all TBR sales orders to the highest details. With a “can do” attitude, this position will assist the branchsales team, the Branch manager as well as the field technician teams, to ensure that jobs are delivered per client specifications and timelines. We are looking for an organized, hands-on, quality oriented, Sales Support candidate.

Major Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

  • Understand and validate the sales quotations from Sales Engineers as well as Branch operations, while creating the production orders and confirming special requirements.
  • With guidance from the Field Team Leader and the Sales Engineering team, plan and prepare Rough Cut field dispatching schedules for technician capacity planning.
  • Ensures that job files are created, and job numbers are assigned, with all pertinent special quotes and customer request information are attached.
  • Prepared and send order confirmations to external customers and Sales Engineers.
  • Price and project manage, special quotes and job specific, outside supply purchasing items.
  • Recommend adjustments for Field technician capacity changes relative to product demands and delivery schedule requirements.
  • Facilitate and document within Odoo and with the Brandon Branch Field Team Leader, any special jobsite or customer specific requirements.

Other Tasks:

  • Keep TVA Odoo information updated with all current job data, special quotes, and projected due dates.
  • With guidance from the head Office Finance Team, create and send customer invoices as jobs are completed.
  • Oversee and facilitate the special quote/ outside supply purchasing and project management processes.
  • Provide pricing guidance and back up technical support to Team Leaders and Sales Engineers and their customers if their primary contact is not available.

Education and Experience:

  • Completed courses or a Diploma in Operations Management or related field is preferred. However, any post-secondary training combined with relevant hands-on production experience would be considered.
  • Three (3) + years successful production or operations leadership experience in commercial door fabrication or other building products would be considered a strong asset. HVAC, Electrical, Security systems industry experience would also be considered.

Preferred Competencies:

  • Commitment to quality, pride in workmanship, ambition, drive, and self-determination are preferred characteristics.
  • A good sense of urgency and customer service professionalism.
  • Experience working with cross functional teams with diverse international backgrounds.
  • Knowledge in entrance automation and other barrier free product lines
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) with a user’s knowledge of ERP systems such as Epicor or Odoo
  • Excellent time management skills and flexibility are required.
  • An aptitude for problem solving and entrepreneurial resolutions.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of electro-mechanical or building products manufacturing supervisory experience preferred.
  • Exceptional teamwork and communication skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong appreciation for excellence in customer service is a MUST
  • Valid MB drivers licence required with the ability to prove a clean driving record.
  • Strong production management thinking, and analytical skills is an asset.
  • Positive attitude, with an ability to foster an atmosphere of trust and transparency.
