POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic and solutions-driven Sales Systems Engineer to support our business development and sales efforts from early concept through final proposals. As a key technical expert in the sales lifecycle, you will help shape customer-facing solutions by aligning technical capabilities with commercial goals—delivering competitive, cutting-edge proposals that meet client requirements.
The ideal candidate is a systems-minded problem-solver with a balance of engineering acumen and business perspective, who can work seamlessly with internal teams, external partners, and prospective clients.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong background in systems engineering, mechanical/electrical design, or related technical discipline.
  • Proven experience in bid development and technical sales support for complex systems (e.g., baggage handling systems, automated material handling, etc.).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience leading cross-disciplinary engineering teams through the sales proposal process.
  • Proficient in creating high-level system concepts and design documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Managers throughout the entire sales process, from the initial customer contact to final proposal.
  • Contribute to the creation of sales strategies by translating client needs into high-impact technical solutions.
  • Select and integrate appropriate technologies—both proprietary and third-party—to develop competitive system designs.
  • Provide system design direction and guidelines (e.g., MFDs, high-level concepts) to Application Engineers to ensure complete and integrated solutions.
  • Lead a cross-functional Bid Team, including Proposal Engineers, to develop solution concepts, project schedules, cost estimates, and documentation for review.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Procurement to identify appropriate suppliers; prepare RFQs and analyze supplier responses.
  • Conduct and lead cost estimation reviews with stakeholders and evaluate associated technical and financial risks.
  • Prepare all technical documentation required for tenders, including detailed compliance matrices.
  • Act as a technical liaison during the project handover phase to ensure a seamless transition to execution teams.
