REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in automotive sales, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading by example.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to analyse performance data and prepare accurate reports.
  • Commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset.
  • Full, clean Irish driving licence.
  • Proficiency with dealership systems, CRM, and digital sales tools.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Sales Team Leader will be responsible for managing day-to-day sales operations, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring that team targets are consistently achieved. This role will also involve producing regular performance reports, driving process improvements, and ensuring customer service standards are maintained at the highest level.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, coach, and support junior sales executives, providing on-the-job training and guidance.
  • Monitor individual and team performance against sales targets and KPIs.
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly sales reports to senior management.
  • Work with the team to develop effective sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Oversee customer interactions to ensure a positive experience and handle escalations where required.
  • Foster a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new sales staff.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of stock, pricing, finance products, and compliance requirements.
  • Liaise with management to align sales activity with business goals.
