POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales Team Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team, including Account Development Representatives (ADRs) and Estimators. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, improving lead conversion, ensuring accurate and timely estimating, and aligning the Business Development strategy with company goals. The Business Development Manager will coach and develop team members, monitor performance, and collaborate with other departments to deliver exceptional customer experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
· 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a sales leadership role.
· Experience managing both outbound sales teams and technical estimating personnel.
· Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
· Proficient in CRM systems and sales performance tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
· Familiarity with estimating software or tools used in the construction, access control, or commercial service industries is a plus.
Sales Leadership & Team Management
· Lead, mentor, and develop the Account Development Representatives and Estimator team.
· Set and monitor individual and team sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
· Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, team huddles, and performance reviews.
· Identify training needs and provide coaching and development opportunities.
Sales Strategy & Execution
· Develop and implement effective sales strategies and processes to grow revenue and market share.
· Collaborate with marketing to ensure alignment on lead generation and qualification efforts.
· Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up on all leads and opportunities.
· Track and report on sales metrics, forecast future sales, and recommend course corrections as needed.
