EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 1 to2 years of relevant experience with Trade & Working Capital solutions or Banking or Treasury
  • Customer facing and or sales experience is a plus

EDUCATION

  • B.A. in Finance, Business Administration or equivalent ideal, or
  • other university and business school qualifications, such as finance, law, engineering, math, physics, or economics, as examples.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • The candidate should demonstrate basic know how in trade & working capital products
  • Fluency in German and English. Any other language would be a plus, in particular, Swedish, Finish, Norwegian, Danish.
Responsibilities

As an Analyst , you will support the Trade & Working Capital Team in originating and structuring trade and working capital solutions for large corporate clients in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and in the Nordic countries. You will have responsibility for a set of dedicated existing customers.

We need someone like you to help us in different areas:

  • Support senior team members in identifying opportunities and assist in originating transactions within Trade & Working capital solutions for large corporate clients; prepare and deliver client presentations and actively support other sales and coverage initiatives.
  • Manage your own set up customers alongside goals and available tools, interact with clients regularly.
  • Support and manage your own existing portfolio business and assist in enhancing the profitability and revenues in line with Santander’s requirements
  • Prepare and execute transactions, including for example applications for internal approval committees and alignment with all internal stakeholders relevant for execution, such as Banking, Private Debt Mobilisation (Syndication), Operations, Legal, Product, Working Capital Advisory, Compliance, IT, so as to provide a best-in-class service and seamless end to end origination and execution.
  • Perform financial and strategic business analysis.
  • Adherence to internal processes and governance to ensure control and transparency over sales activity.
  • Gather market intelligence and support in advising clients on all matters concerning Trade and Working Capital solutions.
  • Support the team in external advocacy roles in support of Santander’s branding, recruitment and thought leadership.
