Responsibilities

As a Trainee Internal Sales Person, your responsibilities will include:

  • Building Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with existing customers, delivering outstanding service and ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather market and customer data to identify new sales opportunities and trends in the steel industry.
  • Prospecting New Business: Engage with potential customers through calls, emails, and meetings to promote Hall & Pickles’ products and services.
  • Negotiation & Closing Sales: Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contract specifications to successfully close deals and drive sales growth.
  • Supplier Liaison: Work closely with suppliers to track order progress and ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
  • Sales Administration: Record all sales, orders, and customer interactions accurately using internal systems. Provide fast and accurate cost calculations and quotations.
  • Proactive Sales: Make proactive sales calls to existing and new customers, including cold calling and pitching new products.
  • Product Promotion: Assist in promoting both current and new product lines to increase revenue and market share.
  • Customer Issue Resolution: Resolve any potential issues with orders and deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • KPI Achievement: Once trained, you’ll work to exceed personal KPIs and sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the team.
