JOB SUMMARY:

We’re looking for a proven sales leader and trainer with extensive experience in roofing sales, insurance claims processes, construction and home improvement sales and door-to-door sales. This person will be responsible for training new hires, improving closing rates, and ensuring our sales team is fully equipped to handle storm restoration and insurance-related claims from start to finish and Estimating construction projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of roofing and construction sales experience, preferably in storm restoration and insurance claims.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and sales analytics.
  • Experience in estimating roof, siding, gutters, door, windows and other trade work.
  • Proven track record of 6-figure+ sales performance in roofing or construction.
  • Prior experience as a trainer, team lead, or sales manager in the roofing industry.
  • Deep understanding of the insurance claims process, including inspections, adjuster meetings, supplements, and file management.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and motivational skills.
  • Ability to travel to job sites and different branch locations as needed.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and a passion for developing top-performing salespeople.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement sales training programs for new and existing sales reps
  • Train on estimating roofing, siding, gutters, windows, doors and other trade work.
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions including sales role-playing, objection handling, and product education
  • Assess team performance and provide targeted coaching to improve skills and close rates
  • Develop training materials such as scripts, presentations, and video modules
  • Work closely with leadership to align training with company goals and KPIs
  • Monitor training effectiveness and make improvements as needed
  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous learning
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for new and existing sales representatives, focusing on:

  • Roofing sales best practices - Insurance claim process and documentation - Adjuster interactions -Customer relationship management and follow-up. - Door-to-door prospecting and lead generation

  • Ride along with sales reps on appointments to provide real-time coaching and closing support.

  • Conduct role-playing sessions to sharpen negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Monitor team performance and provide ongoing feedback to boost closing ratios and revenue.
  • Stay up-to-date with insurance claim trends, carrier requirements, and storm restoration best practices.
  • Assist management in identifying knowledge gaps and creating continuous learning programs.
