Description
The Sales Training & Events Specialist supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of leadership development programs tailored to emerging MLM (multi-level marketing) leaders. This role plays a vital part in facilitating training sessions, supporting coaching efforts, and helping manage program resources. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, passionate about leadership growth, and skilled in instructional delivery and learner support. This is a 12 month contract position for Maternity Leave Coverage. Essential Functions Assist in creating and maintaining training materials that support Brand Partner onboarding, sales programs, and strategic initiatives. Educate Brand Partners on company policies, compensation plans, programs, and tools to enhance their business success. Co-facilitate workshops, training sessions, and virtual and in-person learning events for emerging MLM leaders. Support the Sales Manager in conducting needs assessments and gathering feedback to inform program design. Collaborate on content curation and organization within the Oleo app, helping manage resource libraries and training modules. Support in-person and virtual Brand Partner events including setup, logistics, training sessions, and field education. Monitor participant engagement and performance, collecting data and preparing reports on progress. Serve as a liaison with internal departments to resolve escalations and complex cases. Provide administrative and program support to ensure smooth execution of development initiatives. Stay informed of best practices in adult learning and leadership development. Skills & Qualifications Effective communication and facilitation skills, with comfort presenting to small and large groups. Basic understanding of leadership development frameworks and adult learning principles. Experience in MLM environments is a plus but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with learning platforms (e.g., LMS, Zoom, e-learning tools). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Can travel domestically or internationally as required. Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from feedback. Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in education, business, human resources, or a related field. 1–2 years of experience in training support, leadership development, HR, or a learning-related role. A combination of education and experience may meet this requirement. Supervisory Responsibility: This job does not have supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a laptop, desktop, smartphone, and photocopiers. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Essential oils are worn and/or diffused in the work environment. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This position requires the incumbent to be physically present at the assigned worksite. The regular schedule is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an hour lunch, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Employees are also expected to work at least one non-convention farm event a year and to work at the annual company convention. Exact hour requirements and Part-time schedule can be reasonably modified as necessary for the business needs by the employee’s manager. Specific vision abilities of this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to type, file, and occasionally lift office supplies up to 20 pounds.
