DESCRIPTION

This position is ideal for experienced sales professionals with a passion for training and development to join the North America Sales Training & Development team as a Sales Training Manager (Orthodontic Channel). In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver impactful training programs that accelerate the proficiency of Align Technology’s commercial sales teams. Partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Training Operations, you’ll lead initiatives that enhance product knowledge, selling skills, and digital workflow expertise. This role is critical in shaping the effectiveness of our field teams and driving adoption of the Align Digital Platform.

Responsibilities

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

  • Design and lead a state-of-the-art training curriculum for the Align product portfolio, reducing speed to proficiency for commercial sales teams.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Training Operations team to develop blended learning solutions (virtual and instructor-led) for internal and external sales audiences.
  • Facilitate onboarding and ongoing training on Invisalign and iTero products tailored to role-specific proficiency requirements.
  • Partner with Marketing to ensure training content reflects current product offerings and market dynamics.
  • Develop and implement evaluation strategies to measure training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Co-travel with commercial teams (Invisalign, iTero, Special Markets) to gain field insights and reinforce training relevance.
  • Analyze sales performance data to identify training needs and design targeted follow-up programs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in sales training best practices within the digital orthodontic/dental industry.
  • Influence senior sales leadership and training stakeholders using adult learning principles and performance data.
