The Role:
This position preference is not fully remote. Candidates must be available to work in one of the following U.S. Andersen offices:
Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Metro New York (New York City, Metro Park, Greenwich, Hartford, Long Island), Northern California (San Francisco, Silicon Valley, San Jose), Philadelphia, Seattle, Southern California (Los Angeles, Orange County), or Metro DC (McLean, Washington, DC).
We are seeking a detailed-oriented, self-starter and skilled Salesforce System Administrator with outstanding database and analysis skills to manage and optimize our Salesforce environment.
The Salesforce Administrator will primarily be focused on assisting the marketing team as it relates to configuration, development, implementation of applications, and technical analysis to assist management with international business development and coordination efforts and ensuring it meets business needs and functions efficiently.
This role will be responsible for system maintenance, user support, configuration, automation, and reporting. This candidate will use their platform knowledge, software development lifecycle experience, troubleshooting ability, user management, and communications skills to ensure that our Salesforce Applications run smoothly, the business has proper training, and issues are handled expediently.
This is an ideal role for someone with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail who is looking for an opportunity to develop his/her skills and experience with a premier professional services firm. The Salesforce Administrator will be a member of the Global Marketing group and will report to the Managing Director for Marketing and our Business Intelligence Leader.

High-level duties include:

  • Salesforce Administration, Process Automation & Configuration: Maintain and customize Salesforce, including user setup, roles, profiles, security settings, page layouts, and validation rules.
  • Serve as primary system administrator for Andersen’s Salesforce.com org;
  • Lead the ongoing development of Salesforce deployments;
  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user maintenance, custom reports, dashboards, validation rules, process builder, flows, and other routine tasks;
  • Manage Salesforce security including roles, profiles, sharing rules, permission sets, and groups;
  • Manage operational requests, including permission sets, custom views, and troubleshooting issues;
  • Coordinate activities between local BD and global BD users, programs and initiatives
  • Process Automation: Create and optimize workflows, process builder flows, and approval processes to streamline operations.
  • Work closely with functional leaders to identify, develop and deploy new business processes, workflows, etc.
  • Data Management: Oversee data integrity through deduplication, data imports/exports, validation, and reporting.
  • Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and relevant system integrations;
  • Maintain database for integrity and accuracy including cleansing and duplicate record management;
  • User Support & Training: Provide end-user training and support, troubleshoot issues, and manage change requests.
  • Manage and Improve Salesforce.com adoption through organizational training, system improvements and reporting;
  • Stay updated on the platform’s new tools, capabilities, and updates; and
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support decision-making across departments.
  • System Integration, Upgrades, Security & Compliance:
  • Manage integrations with third-party applications, stay up to date with new Salesforce releases, and implement necessary changes.
  • Ensure adherence to data security policies, compliance regulations, and best practices.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned
