Our game is for everyone, and we strive to be a workplace for everyone.   Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are encouraged to apply.   ABOUT THE ROLE The role of Salesforce Administrator is an important role in the delivery of our shared platform services to both AFL/Marvel and several clubs utilising the platform.   This role is responsible for directly working with the internal delivery team, stakeholders and delivery partners on the requirement collections, solution design, build, implementation, and support of our flagship industry CRM solution across the AFL Ecosystem.   This role is also responsible for ensuring that our production support structures are well set up and we are focused on continuous iterative improvement to the platform.   Applications will be reviewed as received, so we strongly encourage early applications. However, we will be closed for our annual closure period between December 22 2025 until January 12 2026. Over this closure period, applications will not be responded to during this time.     A DAY IN THE LIFE OF Key Accountabilities: Engage with stakeholders to understand problems and identify use cases for enhancements Run workshops for detailed requirements gathering and documenting Identify gaps between current and future state process, impacts of different solution approaches within and out of scope Design solutions that fulfil business requirements and processes Solutioning with consideration to current tech and data landscape and in line with long-term strategy Conduct solution playbacks to tech teams and business stakeholders Provide solution estimate and phasing based on resources and dependencies Collaborate with delivery team and stakeholders through different stages of delivery Hands-on solutions building with quality and efficiency, including robust testing and roll out Document solution design details such as process mapping, data mapping and ERD Support production issues and requests, creating Standard Operating Procedures Engage with users and stakeholders on supporting current solutions and functionalities, providing training and collaborations for feedback Contribute to CRM team change reviews, improve governance and best practice standards Assist with Salesforce major release cycles and installation of applications’ new package releases Supporting ad hoc operational tasks such as bulk data query or update requests   OUR IDEAL TEAM MEMBER Core Competencies: At least 3 years of experience in implementing Salesforce solutions Experience in solutioning and performing assessments on delivery options Experience and knowledge of the standard declarative capabilities such as data modelling, app builder, security and sharing models and permission management Strong hands-on experience with various type of flows Skills with building Salesforce Experience Cloud sites Data Cloud and Agentforce experience are strongly desired Hands on experience of CICD lifecycle, development tools (Jenkins etc.) and Code Repository Experience with metadata extraction and handling for all developments, including configurations, automations, packages, and any supported metadata High level understanding in Apex classes, trigger framework, Schedule, and Batch Extensive Salesforce implementation experience, understanding when choose config over code and why Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and ability to handle multiple task assignments and work independently Strong communication skills, ability to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders with consultative approaches Demonstrated delivery of solutions that meet client expectations and consistent technical design Strategic mindset, with ability to think out of the box to contribute to future enhancement backlogs   OUR CULTURE Please visit www.afl.com.au/careers/our-organisation   THE PERKS Play The Day Your Way – a flexible approach to your working life My Development – lean into the AFL’s My Development program consisting of on-the-job training, coaching and mentoring, and formal learning Play Well – access to our extensive Health and Wellbeing program centered around our belief in a healthy body, healthy mind, and healthy workplace My Benefits – with thanks to our AFL Corporate Partners, access great benefits and discounts AFL Silver Memberships – permanent team members can access AFL matches at Marvel Stadium and the MCG, enjoy and share the experience of our game with your family and friends!   Applications Close: 11 January 2026
