The Integrated Corporate Services (ICS) is a new shared corporate service, launched in July 2023. It provides corporate services (HR, Finance, Digital, Commercial, Security and Estates) across the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero (DESNZ) and the Department for Science, Innovation & Technology (DSIT).

We are seeking a motivated and certified Salesforce Administrator to support the management and optimisation of our ICS Digital Salesforce platform, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of ICS Digital. As a Salesforce Administrator, you will work closely with senior staff to develop your skills and ensure best practices are followed.
This is a crucial new role that will sit within the Software Developer team, you will work alongside Civil Servants and Contractors to develop a range of services on our Salesforce Platform. Working to a Salesforce Developer, you will be the point of contact for Salesforce Administration.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in managing and maintaining the Salesforce platform, including user setup, profiles, roles, customisation of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and validations.
Support the development and implementation of scalable and efficient solutions within Salesforce to support business processes and requirements.
Perform regular system audits and assist in preparing for Salesforce’s three annual updates.
Help create and manage workflow rules, data validation, and triggers.
Provide training and support to end-users to ensure they are effectively utilising Salesforce.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes.
Stay current with Salesforce releases and new features, ensuring the organisation is leveraging the latest capabilities.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues within Salesforce and its products in a timely manner.
